Why Do We Victim Blame?

WHY DO WE VICTIM BLAME?
Victim blaming has always been a very damaging social issue that very few people know about. Though the term “Victim Blaming” might be unfamiliar to most people, how victim blaming looks in practice is all too familiar.

When sexual harassment events happen, we can often see that  there was a strong tendency in our society to “blame the victims," such as “They deserved it", and “What did you expect going out dressed like that?!" The public opinions and blaming have led to an serious psychological trauma and self-loathing for the victims. But in fact, for these victims, what the victim really needs in the first place to help them through is listening without comments and blaming from family and friends.

In this matter, this campaign has created a motion graphic and aims to prevent the criticizing of victim blaming from the internet and community.
